Food Quality and Safety Policy

Stonehenge Global Seeds Inc (SGSI) has developed, implemented and maintains a FSSC 22000 food safety management system (FSMS) to maintain our commitment to product quality and safety. Our priority is to meet or exceed customer expectations by delivering high quality and safe products while providing high-level customer service.

We are continually improving our program by effectively communicating with and involving our employees, suppliers and customers in our food safety management efforts. We are committed to:

• Maintaining our FSSC 22000 certification.

• Providing comprehensive food quality and safety training to all employees.

• Following and monitoring our FSMS operating procedures and guidelines.

• Continuously reviewing and improving our food safety management system.

• Validating the effectiveness of our program based on internal and 3rd party audits, management reviews and customer feedback.

• Meeting or exceeding all statutory and regulatory requirements for quality and food safety, including but not limited to:

  • EcoCert

  • Canadian Organic Products Regulation

  • Canadian Grain Commission

  • Canadian Food Inspection Agency

  • U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
